I like it when I’m reading something (in this case, it’s Heart of Darkness for my English literature class) and I hate it so much and have to force myself to even keep my eyes on the page and I go to see what discussions I have to write on it for my class and it is revealed to me that it’s the story that Apocalypse Now and Fitzcarraldo (my two most hated films I had to watch in my film classes) are based on.
I know that was a run-on sentence but the series of events that led to that realization was like a steam engine that couldn’t come to halt and I felt it needed to be conveyed in sentence structure.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE EXECUTIVE TRANSVESTITE (yes this requires all-caps) who both educated me and desensitized me to the f-word at a young age.
I feel sad for anyone who thinks I’m still paying attention to the conversation after they mention Puerto Rico.
